Have you ever wanted to journey to a peaceful countryside, where the foxes still roam and you can become one with nature? If so, Fox Hollow isn’t that place. Oh, it is a lovely village to be sure, but the foxes are long gone, and the scent of freshly cut wood drifts through the streets. Fox Hollow is surrounded by wooded hills and sheltered within a gentle valley. Its history has long been intertwined with the nearby forests, but now those woodlands provide raw materials for the village’s local craftsmen.

The Hollow, as it’s called by its residents, consists of winding lanes lined with timber-framed cottages, modest workshops, and neatly tended gardens. At the heart of the village lies a charming market square, where locals display their wares and neighbours gather to exchange news beneath the shade of old trees. You won’t find much by way of fresh produce here, at least not in as much abundance as Brackenmere. The real prize is the finely crafted furniture and smaller household items. More than one person has commented that the local craftsmen must have partaken in some unholy deals to produce work of such exceptional quality. Others say it’s practice and skill.

The village sawmill and the well-established timber yard remain central to local industry, supplying materials to craftsmen both within the settlement and beyond. Visitors will find much to admire in the village's traditional workshops, woodland paths, and welcoming establishments. The Fox and Hound Inn, in particular, is a favourite gathering place for residents and travellers alike. Take note though: visitors are advised not to question the origins of particularly fine pieces of furniture. The craftsmen are rather sensitive about such matters.
